Jen was born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia and loves that she can spend a day hiking in the beautiful trails with her family and their two dogs or enjoying all the energy the city has to offer.

She has always found purpose in connection. This calling extends far beyond her professional life and into the heart of her home church, where she and her husband serve in a few different ministries, and of course, as Awana leaders. Guiding the curious Cubbies, while her husband leads the Sparks is more than a volunteer role. It’s a reminder that serving together allows them to reflect God’s love as a family and model it for their daughter.

Jen enjoys listening to podcasts, watching movies, reading a good book or building Lego, and always with a cup of coffee or some good food, her own way of reflection and renewal.
