T&T - Truth & Training
An elementary ministry (GRades 3-6)
The T&T (Truth & Training) curriculum teaches kids the truth of God’s Word, trains them to follow Him and practice His grace.
T&T (Truth & Training) ushers kids and preteens on a journey to know God and His Word, love and need their Savior, and live out their faith in the ever-changing world around them. Featuring 30 lessons each year, this curriculum can launch your outreach efforts and deepen your discipleship as it equips your leaders and challenges your kids to understand, retain, and apply His Truth!
There are four years of curriculum available. The recommended handbook for 2024-2025 is Grace in Action
START ZONE
This is the entrance Book. Included is an overview of basic Bible information, questions to answer and verse memory. All T&T kids complete their entrance booklet before entering a new handbook.
GRACE IN ACTION HANDBOOK
In Mission: Grace In Action kids will learn about the character and nature of God, information about the Bible and Who Jesus is, and they will understand more about grace.
LARGE GROUP GUIDE
Large Group lessons reinforce the teaching in each section of the handbook and lay a solid foundation for long-term retention and application of the biblical concepts presented. Combined with the handbook kids will learn how God’s grace affects our relationships.

T&T AT HOME
There are two ways as a parent you can dive into discipleship. Following along with your kids as they work through their books with a church ministry or use the Awana books at home with your own kids. If your kids attend a church ministry, make sure you check out the weekly parent questions in the books. Our curriculum is focused on making sure parents have support as they journey in faith with their kids. If you’re looking to start a home study, you can do that as well. Simply order the books for your kids and get a leaders guide for yourself. It will give you everything you need to learn God’s word with your kids and grow in faith together. Remember, whether your kids go to a church ministry or you’re doing it at home, Awana is focused on the Gospel, Scripture Memory, Fun, Strong Leadership and Parent Partnership. If these 5 elements are included, you will have a great experience in faith.
