PUGGLES
An early childhood ministry for 2-3 year olds
Puggles® recognizes the learning ability of 2 and 3-year olds by introducing biblical precepts at church and equipping parents to teach them at home. Toddlers love having their very own Awana club just like their older siblings.
In Puggles, children are welcomed each week with play time, songs, and simple crafts and activities. Leaders present age-appropriate lessons using large, colourful teaching cards, finger puppet plays and more.
Lessons teach and reinforce four basic biblical principles
- God made everything
- God saw that it was good.
- God is Love.
- Give thanks.
BIG TRUTHS ENTRANCE BOOKLET
This booklet, which explains the Gospel message, is the first step for all Awana Puggles and their parents! Resent the PUggles Big Truths to kids with this small, whimsical book. This is also a good way to engage with parents as they review biblical themes with their children at home.
COLORING AND ACTIVITY BOOK
A handbook for home or during Puggles. Fun lessons, memory verses, a Gospel message and 32 coloring and activity pages help children engage artistically and review what they learn in an age-appropriate way.
BIG TRUTHS LEADER TEACHING PLAN
These teaching plans are your leader guide with detailed material for each lesson and reproducible craft pages, activities, and games to enhance your teaching. Use with Puggles Cards to create great Puggles moments!
TEACHING CARDS
Capture children’s attention with colourful art and simple lessons that correspond to other materials in the program. Show the pictures on the front of these cards while you teach from the scripted sections (including Bible story) on the back.

PUGGLES AT HOME
There are two ways as a parent you can dive into discipleship. Following along with your kids as they work through their books with a church ministry or use the Awana books at home with your own kids. If your kids attend a church ministry, make sure you check out the weekly parent questions in the books. Our curriculum is focused on making sure parents have support as they journey in faith with their kids. If you’re looking to start a home study, you can do that as well. Simply order the books for your kids and get a leaders guide for yourself. It will give you everything you need to learn God’s word with your kids and grow in faith together. Remember, whether your kids go to a church ministry or you’re doing it at home, Awana is focused on the Gospel, Scripture Memory, Fun, Strong Leadership and Parent Partnership.
