We all know how powerful and encouraging God’s Word can be! Oftentimes a Bible verse or passage put to memory will come to mind the moment that truth is needed most. That’s why Awana® emphasizes Scripture memory. While many children and youth are challenged to memorize Scripture in Awana® Clubs™ and 24-7 Ministries™, many Awana leaders, parents and church congregations have also taken up the memory challenge using the TruthScripts program.
Scripture memory can be easy and fun while bringing a blessing to those who purpose to do it! TruthScripts is a flexible Scripture memory program that you can craft to suit your own church to encourage everyone to take God’s Word to heart!
Summer can be a great time of year to participate. Summer months are an often underutilized ministry season yet one where many families spend concentrated time together. But anytime that works for your church is the right time to hide God’s Word in your heart!

As a family, you can take up the TruthScripts challenge! When most Awana programs break for the summer, your family can continue to take God’s Word to heart! Memorizing a short passage of Scripture can bring your family together and encourage spiritual conversations.
