John and Marion Froom

John was raised on a farm near Shanly in Eastern Ontario. After graduating from high school, he worked in Kingston, Ontario as an Industrial Mechanic. Marion spent her growing up years in Montreal, and later in Mississauga. She attended Ontario Bible College for a year before entering Teacher’s College, then taught elementary school in Kingston. The Frooms have two daughters.

John served in his church as Elder, Board Chairman, Sunday School Superintendent, and teacher. Under Awana Missionary Dave Kinsey, he served as Area Coordinator for Kingston. Through the challenge of the “Great Commission” and a love for the Awana program, the Lord led John and Marion to be Awana Missionaries. They moved to London to begin their ministry in 1985.

They are ready to counsel with pastors and church leaders regarding the youth ministry in your church, and to present the Awana program. They are also available to conduct leadership training, sponsor area events, and speak at Awana presentations or other church services. Please feel free to contact them directly.
